The reason I first purchased Method hand soap was because it matched my bathroom. I had no idea about the company’s chemical-free/environmentally-friendly agenda.
Now, I know things like— Method hand soap doesn’t contain Triclosan, a harmful chemical that can be found in most antibacterial soaps (read all about the dangers of Triclosan here). But back then…
Method was just a soap that came in the same hot pink as my shower curtain.
Today, in honor of my past ignorance, I am going to put all that environmental stuff aside and just do something pretty.
I am going to match up awesome bathrooms with Method’s wide variety of hand soap colors.
Everybody ready for some bathroom decor inspiration (none of which contain an Elmo potty or a bin of moldy bath toys)?
1. Hibuscus Flower
2. Cucumber
3. Pink Grapefruit
4. Eucalyptus Mint
5. Clementine
6. French Lavender
7. Fresh Currant
(All sources for photos can be found on my “Colorful Bathrooms” Pinterest board. I am too tired to post each link here but I will get to it tomorrow. Promise.)
Did you know that when I first started my blog, I considered making it a home decor blog? This seems totally laughable now, judging by the current state of my apartment. Kids really do ruin things, don’t they?
Below is Method’s latest video, “High Five a Rainbow” starring their oddly loveable spokesinger, Noah. He equates Method’s wide array of hand soap colors to “a world of sexy flowers blossoming into a unicorn sky”. YEAH. It’s really hard not to love this company.
Now. Head over to Method’s facebook fanpage to guess how many handsoaps were used in their rainbow light installation. If you guess the closest (without going over), you’ll get an $100 gift card to Soap.com as well as your very own rainbow set of hand soaps. Runner-up gets $50. Contest ends June 28th.
No bathroom renovation required.

Method is a brand sponsor of Mommy Shorts but as always, the thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
I. WANT. THE. CLEMENTINE. LOO. Give it to me and no one will get hurt.
Now I will sigh wistfully because I am certainly not ready to hurt anyone over a pretty (really really pretty) dream bathroom…
The red and the green yellow rooms are nice, too…
The only thing in any of these photos I can currently afford is the hand soap. You’ve gotta start somewhere.
Also? I think “a world of sexy flowers blossoming into a unicorn sky” is fantastic inspiration for the upcoming Glitterati line from Sticky Chic Boutique. I would add glitter, obviously. “A world of sexy glitter flowers blossoming into a unicorn sky.”
I love Method! But I like the clear scent – matches everything! I bet you’d be a fab home designer/blogger!
Who are these people with these beautiful bathrooms? My bathroom doesn’t look like any of those. Except for the method soap.
I do the same thing. Soaps and toothbrushes must match. I even need the dish soap to match my kitchen. Recently got Method lemon mint. LOVE IT! I can never go back.
It’s actually three different bathrooms but I love all of them. That wallpaper is killer.
I think you’ve got a hit on your hands. I won’t report you to Method for copyright infringement if you won’t…
The bathroom is one room in a home which has moved beyond a vision of utilitarian use to a more personal customized space. Trendy and attractive bathrooms are able to make their owners and other visitors feel energized whenever they spend time in this room.
Well, the red color indicates that these are the ones that totally did it.Attractive designs sure to give a lot of ideas.
I would take any one of those french lavender rooms :/
