I work in advertising. So keep in mind that I may be a little biased when it comes to "The Hilarity Level" of what I am about to show you…
Below is a video case study from an ad agency called John St. using eight-year-old Chelsea Bedano as the client and the theme of her birthday party as their campaign assignment. I know it's a parody but to be honest it is no more ridiculous than other case studies I've seen treating skin creams like the answer to self esteem issues and diet soda like a shortcut to fabulousness. Come to think of it, the success of Chelsea's birthday party sounds considerably more plausible.
That’s pretty funny. I get a kick out of the idea of promoting an 8 year-old’s birthday on Facebook. lol
Haha this stirred up so many unpleasant memories from Draftfcb… From the self-congratulation to the the requisite Arcade Fire song for emphasis… I wouldn’t have even been surprised in the slightest if this wasn’t a parody!
This is hysterical! Also, I laughed harder since the (popular?) strip club in Atlanta is called the Pink Pony. I have no idea how I know that.
Hilarious! Though I’m laughing b/c I know some moms who take their children’s birthday parties that seriously.
B-day parties with tons of little kids aren’t that big in our house at the current time.
Our biggest bash was Joseph’s 6 birthday Handy Manny party. 14 little boys( including b-day boy) and 2 little girls were running around. My sister volunteered to get the girls out of the house. She took Allie and Brooke to see Zootopia (this was January) so we didn’t have them in the mix.
The kids had a blast searching for the missing wrench (fake, I bought for five bucks on Amazon a few weeks before Joesph’s big day)
The cake was from Sweet Spot, the most amazing bakery ever. The cake was acutally made to look Handy Manny. He absolutely loved it. It was so big that we were eating it for the next week.
We didn’t have it at home for the first time ever. It was at Party Palace, and they made it look like Handy Manny’s workshop. Joseph was in Handy Manny heaven. We even got an entainer to play along.
