Let me start by saying NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON PREDICTED THE FINAL FOUR. There have been upsets and surprises all over the place. So. Monday's giveaway of a handmade customized stroller blanket from Butterscotch Blankees is wide open. Just comment below the opening post to enter, if you haven't done so already.
Also, many of you have been inquiring about The Next Evil Baby Glare-Off. The answer is— I will do it again but not any time soon. HOWEVER. If you'd like an early start, post your baby's best evil glare (make sure you include their first name) on the wall of the Mommy Shorts facebook fanpage. I'm starting an album called "Evil Baby Glare-Off Contenders 2012".
Next, I am going to pay tribute to a few favorites who were prematurally dismissed.
The first is Miles. Miles found the glare-off because his mom submitted his picture to MyBabyLooksLike.com as Chucky.
Pretty convincing, no? I thought so too. BUT. I'd like to submit another picture for Chucky consideration. Remember Lil' D who lost to Chelsea back in the first round? I think she might have Miles beat.
For those new around here, MyBabyLooksLike.com is my other site. It works in conjunction with Mommy Shorts to suck up all the free time I should be spending with family and friends. Check it out, rate the lookalikes and submit your own kid.
The next contestant I'd like to talk about is Mikey. Mikey lost last round but his mom made the excellent point that his full uncropped picture might have given him the necessary edge.
I agree. Nothing makes me happier than evil mixed with Elmo.
Lastly, before I get to today's vote, I want to give a shout-out to Lucie whose birthday was yesterday.
Happy Birthday, Lucie!!!
Lucie says "Thank you to everyone for giving me the gift of ADVANCING TO THE NEXT ROUND".
It's time to decide which evil babies make it into THE FINALS.
Ready?
Thank you to Brianne and Kelley for their "evil baby questions". If you'd like to add more for consideration for THE FINALS, do it below Tuesday's post.
MAY THE EVILEST BABY WIN!

GIVEAWAY:
Today I've got an AMAZING giveaway from family photographer Jenny Sherouse (check out her portfolio here). Jenny is giving away one family photo session worth $200 to a Mommy Shorts fan in or around New York City.
Jenny's pictures are gorgeous (as you can see below) and Mike, Mazzy and I will be getting photographed by her next week.
The $200 package includes 1 1/2 hours of shooting at the location of your choosing (travel outside of Manhattan may incur a fee) as well as a private online gallery from which you can order prints, digital files and albums.
Just make sure your kid is in a good spirits the day of shooting. Unless, of course, your kid is Mikey and even the loving presence of Grandma can't wipe the evil off his face.
GIVEAWAY RULES:
1) You must be a Mommy Shorts Facebook Fan to enter. If you are not one already, you can become one by clicking "Like" on the facebook widget on my right sidebar or by clicking here.
2) Answer this question in the comment section below: Which kid are you most shocked didn't make the final four? Please indicate if you can come to NYC for a photo session by writing "NYC" at the beginning of your comment.
3) This is not required BUT— please spread the word of the Evil Baby Glare-Off. Post a link on your facebook page, click "like" underneath the post, tweet about it, tell your yoga instructor, whatever. Just because that would be AWESOME.
All giveaway winners will be announced on Monday October 17th, along with the winner of the glare-off.
GOOD LUCK!
I was positive Mikey would be in the top two, though I’m glad to see Chelsea is still in the running. The older the child, the more evil the glare because they are more AWARE.
I agree: Mikey looks pretty hardcore and I was definitely surprised.
Obviously, I’m surprised that Beckett didn’t make it to the final four. And yet, I didn’t think he’d make it to the final eight to begin with! I’m also surprised that Miles didn’t make it (I really did picture Chuckie!), and I thought Abby was pretty scary, but that was a while ago.
Good luck to the Final Four!
WOO used my evil baby question! Thanks MommyShorts! 🙂 I don’t live anywhere near NY but I have to say I’m shocked Lila didn’t make it further, I mean come ON she eats human flesh!!
Ok, just to clarify, it was only Lucie’s 9 month birthday yesterday. (I enjoy celebrating the small things around here.) But thanks for the shout out!!!
Chelsea… that look is going to get her into a lot of trouble in school. I know, I had the same one. lol
I’m surprised Becket didn’t make it too. In my (very biased) opinion, he looked way meaner than Lotte. I’m also really surprised about Mikey. I’ll now be throwing my support behind Chelsea. If looks could kill…
I regret that I have not an evil baby photo to give for my country. Oh, my kids bring the evil, they just do so off camera as to avoid conviction in a court of law.
Loving the Glare Off. May I suggest a Mayhem Marathon? I can definitely get some pics of my kids ruining my home with mayhem. Yes, I’m asking you to create a contest I can win. And?
I was surprised Miles and Mikey didn’t make the finals…we can make it to NY
NYC, baby. N.Y.C.
Isabel. She singed my eyebrows with a look and made me tinkle a little. I can only imagine that her parents are the creepy girl from The Ring and Javier Bardem’s character (Anton) from No Country For Old Men.
How is this child not in the Final Four? HOW???
And, when Chelsea wins this whole thing? Please don’t tell her I kept voting for her. Unless she wants me to. Because, well, I’m very scared.
Mayhem Marathon? Genius, Ninja. GENIUS.
I can’t believe Miles got the ax. People, do not give that baby an ax. Just sayin’.
Lucie all the way! That face is effortless! And she is clearly the youngest! Her evil baby glare s a natural talent!
I REALLY am surprised that STEFAN was eliminated early, but with the cropping you cant see his arms folded which gives the glare the full effect. NYC NYC NYC…
I am really surprised Lila and Beckett didn’t make the Final Four!
and I CAN travel to NYC…
(NYC) – I thought Grant was a real contender. That is some serious evil glaring right there.
NYC – I had Lila picked for going the distance on this one! LOL
Miles was my favorite, because I was really scared of that kid. He had the Chucky glare down.
NYC: I thought Miles was in it to win it – some people don’t know an evil glare when they see one.
I was sure Miles and Lila would make it to the end. Both of them being out surprised me
Stefan is ADORABLE!!
Thanks Debbie, I did too! I think older kids have a scarier look because they aren’t just making a face…they mean it!
– (Grant’s mommy)
NYC
My pick was Lila because she was the one that started it all!
That Sesame Street shirt on Mikey is the BEST!
He’s already a winner.
AND well-dressed.
Obviously.
XO
That full un-cropped pic of Mikey is priceless!
OMG what a clever idea. These are hilarious! I wish I would have been in on it from the very beginning.
Woooohoooooo
mikey!
I don’t see how Mark couldn’t win. IMO his face is awesome. Its the best by far!
I’m rooting for Chelsea!!
I want to know where one can get Mikey’s shirt – I want it. For me.
Hahhahah I love Mikey. I do. And I am kicking myself now for not buying that shirt when I saw it.
Allison- I wish I would have bought it- it was at Target, although alas, not in our size. Ebay has this one though: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SESAME-STREET-ROLLING-MY-HOMIES-T-SHIRT-Mens-XL-/300587063787
Mikey should still be in it! He’s got the sweetest face ever and he’s acting all tough… A+ for effort!
Miles. Definitely Miles.
so i need to know where i can get one of those sesame street t’s for my son???
It already has, and she’s only 2. I shudder for our family’s future.
Yay–keep rooting for Chelsea! (I’m afraid she might kill me if she doesn’t win.)
