My guess is Asher, the 6-year-old who wrote this letter (and son of Toulouse & Tonic), half-confused veteran for vegetarian and then he must know someone (his mother maybe?) who says she's a vegetarian, except she eats fish.

Poor kid. It must have been a very confusing day in kindergarten, remembering all the brave veterans who ate salmon for their country.
