Well you are quite lucky if your kid naps at all. When my daughter had her first I was thrilled to volunteer to babysit. I had visions of hours of quiet for me to work at the computer while he peacefully slept. Instead I had to walk him to sleep outside in all weather in his stroller and then he only slept for a half hour.
