It’s been awhile since Mazzy updated her Pinterest Board. It was this fabulous activity we had fun doing together and then she was no longer interested. Kinda sad, because it was my most popular Pinterest board by far.
Maybe that’s a good thing. Because if Mazzy had been scouring Pinterest, she would have stumbled on all the pink Christmas trees and pink sparkly ornaments and pink candy cane cookies and suddenly whatever Christmas Poppy and Nonna have planned for us in Rhode Island this year with their boring green trees and unoriginal red Santa Claus would be subpar.
No one should have ever put Mazzy in charge of Christmas decor. Because if they did…

So understated. I love it!
If I didn’t have a house of boys this would be AWESOME! But I too love pink!
This was our girlie last year. Her room was full of pink tinsel that she wanted to share with the rest of the house. But this year, post-Elsa, she has been taken by turquoise tinsel and snowflakes and white glittery things. So the Frozen fixation actually did my lounge a favour.
Her bedroom is still pink tinsel heaven mind you. There are some things even Elsa can’t change.
You should actually do a pink Christmas next year. And then do Harlow’s color whenever she becomes obsessed with one And if they both love pink, you may as well just change everything in your house to pink. On the bright side, all of the different shades of pink go well together.
mmmm….that egg nog is giving me the mouth sweats
Eloise would be proud of her fellow New Yorker’s affinity for all things pink.
I’m not seeing the problem here. I like Mazzy’s taste. I’m not even that big a fan of pink, but I love anything that is a little different!
Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas, Mommy Shorts! Thanks for all the laughs this year!
Love the pink. Embrace all the fun things kids want to do when they’re young. Too soon they grow up and enter the non-caring phase. It passes, but while they’re in it, decorating is a lonely sport.
Hey now, some of those things are vintage and are awesome just for that fact. THen again, I am a mom of three boys so pink is few and far between here…
At least all of the things she selected will coordinate with each other… Could it be that her favorite color is pink??? LOL!
