I am an official brand ambassador for Mini Babybel® in 2016. While I receive compensation for participation as a brand advocate, opinions are my own.
Two weeks ago, I posted the first “Parenting Advice with Kids,” a collaboration with Mini Babybel cheese that had a bunch of six-year-old’s schooling me on “chores”. Today, those same six-year-olds are back (Mazzy included) with a whole new topic: “Picky Eating.” That’s something we’ve talked about a lot around here.
Mazzy and her friends are giving me advice on how to get kids to try new things and how to set your expectations correctly for what kids will and will not eat.
For instance, don’t you DARE serve them any peas and corn that touch!
Just like Mazzy and her little friends are doling out big people advice, Mini Babybel packs a big taste in a small package.
Mini Babybel is a 100% natural cheese which comes in seven rich, creamy varieties— from classic Original to smooth Mozzarella style. Its signature red-wax-packaging makes it an easy on-the-go snack that is great to pack in school lunches because kids can easily open them up for themselves. I throw in my bag for myself too.
It’s not empty calories either. Each serving of Mini Babybel cheese delivers at least 4 grams of protein and 15% of your daily calcium needs – all for 70 calories or less.
Last week’s winner of a $150 Amex gift card and a year supply of Mini Babybel cheese is Jung Park. Congratulations! Please contact pam@mommyshorts.com to claim your prize.
This week’s winner is still yet to be determined. To enter, you must subscribe to the Mommy Shorts YouTube Channel. Then like the video and leave a comment underneath the video on YouTube.
One winner will be picked at random and announced on 2/26, when I will debut the third video and yet another giveaway.
Good luck!
“And don’t fake write it down this time!”
man, you can’t get anything past them! ha!
So putting kids in dark rooms for not trying veggies is a legit parenting technique then, right? Cos I have been missing a trick there if so. No wonder my kids are veggie limited.
I love the “use threats” part. Like those ever really work. LOL! What a fun activity to get kids tell you how they would parent.
im catching up on my emails and reading the newsletter! I just saw my name 😀 Thank You!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I swear, my kids can’t hear me tell them to pick up their toys but as soon as I sit down for a snack they come running! THEN the take a bite and decide they don’t like it and proceed to spit in out so that I have to catch it with my hand. Gross.
