Each month, I put together a bag (or box) of goodies culled together from things I’ve done, events I’ve attended, stuff people have sent me and brands I’ve worked with. What started as me just unloading a bunch of free stuff, has become something more. For instance, I brought you guys back a souvenir from the White House and I forgot about my very own mother!
Check out these lovely White House edition commemorative Easter Eggs signed by the President and the First Lady. Pretty cool, right?
I also got such a great response to Mazzy’s bunny mask on Instagram that Seedling volunteered to give me an extra for the swag bag.
Due to the outpouring of love for the Doughnut Neck Roll from Mazzy’s LittleMissMatched shoot, I put one of those in there as well. If you haven’t already, you should totally check out Mazzy modeling her picks on their site.
My book of the month is Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes. Pretty much Pete the Cat anything is always a favorite.
If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been participating in a Sophia the First campaign on Instagram, mainly on @Insta2yearold since Harlow is a huge fan. She got the dress and the amulet but I saved the new doll just for you guys.
If you happened to catch Mike and I going to a Valspar paint event on Snapchat (ilanawiles), I said the best thing about bringing my husband along to these things was that we both get gift bags! Valspar included a colored pencil set of all their new colors.
In March was National Cereal Day and General Mills sent me a huge box of what I affectionately refer to as “desert cereals.” I kept the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I hope you don’t mind.
I also went to an event led my friends at Hey Mama at the gorgeous Gramercy Park Rooftop for Beautycounter— a line of safe beauty products that just launched a new line for babies.
A friend of mine invented the Spoon Cocoon which is an excellent way to safely store your baby’s on-the-go utensils in your filthy diaper bag. Come on— you know that thing’s filthy!
Did I tell you that I got kicked out of my old office? As a result, my Container Store makeover came down and I realized that I had an extra magnetic glass weekly planner.
If you saw me dutifully put together a 200 piece Crocodile Creek Space Puzzle on Snapchat with no help from my kids whatsoever, I bought a second one so you can have the very same experience. (For some reason, the amazon link says it’s $85. Do not worry— I did not pay that and you shouldn’t either!)
And last but not lease, I included your very own Mommy Shorts Mug. It can be used for coffee or ice cream or just straight up vodka. Whatever you prefer.
As always, instructions to enter to win March’s Swag Bag will be in Sunday’s Mommy Shorts newsletter. That means you must be a Mommy Shorts subscriber to enter.
If you are not already a subscriber, you can become one by clicking here!
while looking through this with my daughter Ceci, we both just gasped, ‘oh my gooness!’ Looking forward to the weekly ????????
Please please please let it be me this month! Just put reminder in my phone to look out for the newsletter. I’ve been reading you for years and the only thing I want more than your book is that mug!!!!
Fingers crossed!!!! :):):)
Love this! Also, I kind of want to know the details. . . you got kicked out of the office?! Something juicy?! (I have no. Life. Obviously)
I wish I could say we had a wild office party that resulted in more than one arrest but no sadly, it’s not that juicy. The building was bought and everybody in it was kicked out. Rumor is they are turning it into a kabbalah center.
Always such nice goodies. Is it odd to be excited about the colored pencils?
Everything looks amazing. My kids love Pete the Cat and I would love the colored pencils. I bought an adult coloring book but of course my 4 year old and 3 year old “help” me color in it.
I bought one recently and my kids did the same! Thankfully it was pages that could tear out so they each got their own. But I keep my own stash of colored pencils that I don’t share 😉
Fingers crossed!????????
Is it Sunday yet???!!!!
Send one to Brazil!!!!!! ????????????????????????
Pete the cat anything is a favorite in our house!! Your Swagbags(or box?) are always so exciting…and then I don’t win and I stomp my feet and pout in the corner for the entire day….kidding…maybe. This swagbag looks good though!
Everything looks awesome! *fingers crossed*
Each month’s bag/box makes me more excited than the last! And I love that you call them “dessert” cereals. We have those at snack time or when we’re traveling 😉
We have always called those “vacation cereals” as we could only pick out a sugary cereal when we were on a family vacation.
Grammy deserves a get out of jail free card for her recent bedside services! So the next time she offers unsolicited advice or sugars the girls up real good before sending them home, you just have to smile and say thank you. Then drink. 🙂
Adorable! Can’t wait for Sunday!
Fantastic stuff this month!! Can’t wait to see who wins it 🙂
I think Grammy deserves a mani/pedi day.. Aloha
Grammy deserves the “best grammy in the world” cup so she will remember how awesome she is everytime she takes a sip of her favorite coffee or tea! ????
Dessert cereals! What a good idea!
I love that you call them dessert cereals!
Please give grandma a nice card with a message that will warm her heart 🙂 a nice GC to a fave restaurant or shopping place would not hurt either 🙂
Grammy deserves another weekend with Harlow! Come on, you know she would love it! 😉

I’m so relieved that they’re Obama Easter eggs and not Trump… I couldn’t have anything in my house associated with that gimp! 😉
