It’s been widely reported that the White House screened the movie “Finding Dory” on the same day Trump gave an executive order to ban all entry from seven Muslim-majority countries.

At first glance, it just seems ridiculous for the White House to be doing something as inconsequential as watching a cartoon while their actions are sending the world into mass panic. But as Ellen points out, it would be a good thing for Trump to pay attention to the actual plot of the movie because he could probably learn a thing or two.

Or at least appreciate the irony.

Rumor is that Trump just introduced the movie and then left without watching. Oh well.
