As Mazzy and Harlow get older, they are becoming increasingly more hilarious. It’s hard to really capture their personalities in photos or in writing so I decided to film for a few days and put together a video compilation of my favorite moments. I even let them film each other.
It starts with the April Fool’s Day joke I played on Harlow that you might have already seen on Facebook, but please stick with it, because there is so many more hilarious moments, many of them orchestrated by the kids. Especially Mazzy. She is becoming a TRULY FUNNY kid with good comedic timing and lots of ideas, which might be my finest achievement as a parent.
Hope you enjoy!
FYI, Micro Kickboard gave me ten scooters to give away on Instagram but I saved two of them to give away on YouTube. Just leave a comment under the video on YouTube and I’ll pick two people on Friday, the 14th to win!
Also, I’d love if you gave the video a “like” on YouTube and subscribed to my channel. If you’d like email notifications when I post, click the little bell next to the subscribe button. I’m going to try and get on a regular Friday posting schedule.
That’s it! Have a great weekend. I’ll be ending my detox with a big cup of coffee in the morning.
xo, Mommy Shorts
Mazzy response to beets and potatoes is EXACTLY what my response would be, yo.
Also, I love how they scootered to the store in their matching jim-jams, and how it’s acceptable to scoot around the store, completely eliminating the ‘who sits in the cart’ argument.
Iggy Peck!
Oh my gosh, Mazzy kills me! I love the “who gets beets and potatoes yo” comment lol. Also, quite impressed with the British accent!
As a Brit I can say that is a very believable British accent ‘Maddy’ Far better than some Hollywood actresses!! Her face as she fell was priceless. I do feel slightly mean for laughing but your reassurance beforehand made it ok to laugh with her.
Her British accent is awesome!
We love Iggy Peck, too! The same author also released 2 similar books, “Ada Twist, Scientist”, and “Rosie Revere, Engineer” that are also really good.
I think your plan to give a warning about the chair falling was perfect. As long as Mazzy was happy to have you post it, then go for it. Her facial expression was priceless!
Hahaha love love this video Ilana!!! Great job Ally!!!!! Those girls are too funny. That face of Mazzy falling OMG! Glad she’s ok hahaha. And glad Harlow is living up to superjew self in time for Passover.
I edited this one myself! Allie taught me Adobe Premiere this week so I could do it. She’s busy working on the Park City video 🙂
Mazzy’s face while falling! 😂 I did laugh out loud. 😳 And her accent was awesome! Never broke character.
So how bad is it that I laughed when mazzy fell?! The girls are hilarious and mazzys British accent is awesome! Your girls remind me of my son as daughter very much. My son (7 in July)is such a goof ball and my daughter (4 in may) is very particular, you have to be careful how you say things and how you do them so you won’t upset her. Anyway can’t wait to see more of these videos.
Love the video. Super cute as always!!! I want to let you know that after following you guys for the past two years or so and constantly wishing I had that scooter for my kiddo (while buying several cheaper crappy ones) I am buying one for her bday SOLELY on your recommendation!! As usual you are guiding me to a thoughtful parenting decision 😊
Hilarious video. Thanks for sharing!!!
OMG Harlow and the chocolate milk?!?!? That was hysterical. I would love to win one of the scooters for my 3.5 year old. It would be so much to let him go crazy on it at Downtown Disney …or the park.
Your kids are beyond adorable and hilarious! I loved how Mazzy figured you’re filming beats and potatoes cuz it’s the food she doesn’t like. EL OH LOL! she’s way too funny…Hope you always have a grand time with them as the moments on the blog! Keep em coming please!
My 7 year old thoroughly enjoyed the video and loved Mazzy’s British accent!
